Choosing a career path at seventeen is perhaps one of the most daunting tasks a young person faces, and it shouldn't be handled with rigid, one-size-fits-all advice. Instead of asking a student what they want to be, we should be asking: "How do you solve problems? How do you interact with others? What environment makes you feel most energized?"
